"None of us can know what we are capable of until we are tested"
Elizabeth Blackbell

Brief background
Pia have a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Ph.D. in Biological Science with a mention in Physiological Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
She has experience in Vascular Physiology related to Inflammatory signals in endothelial cells from post-capillary venules during Hyperpermeability response.
Currently, she is Postdoctoral Fellow at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in the laboratory of Dr. Walter Duran. She study cellular signaling in the Inactivation of Inflammation-Induced Hyperpermeability.
